Artist Bio
Crystal Jacobs is a former cosmetologist of 20 years and is currently pursuing a career working in stained glass. She took a stained glass class and started making her own pieces full time in 2022. At which time she turned her hair studio into a glass studio. She finds inspirations from nature and landscape photos that she takes while traveling across the country with her husband.
She has been involved in many craft fairs and shows, including Harvest Homecoming. For these she creates and displays pieces from holiday themes to commissions to her passion projects.
Crystal is also an Artist at Harrison County Arts in Corydon In. She has several pieces on display at the gallery.
She is currently working on projects with a long-time stained-glass glazier moving away from small commercial pieces and moving towards custom window panels.
Artist Statement
To reach people through art is the main objective. Being able to touch peoples hearts and eyes with pieces that are beautiful, functional, and thought provoking is what is strove towards in every piece of glass that is soldered together.
